Overview

The V1Connect Serial (V1CS) adapter is a RS232 serial adapter that connects your Valentine One^® to a computer for the purpose of interacting with the radar and laser information while remotely controlling the functionality of the Valentine One^®.

Features

These are the base features that the V1CS hardware adapter provides to accompanying software:

• Detect and interpret the Valentine One^® concealed display data and transmit to pc via a RS232 serial protocol.
• Ability to remotely mute the Valentine One^®.
• Ability to remotely change modes of the Valentine One^®.
• Ability to turn on/off the main display (which in turn starts/stops data flow to the serial port).
• Fully powered by the existing Valentine One^® wiring connection.
• Small compact size (approx 3” x 1.5”).

Installation

The V1CS is designed to replace the functionality of the OEM concealed display available from Valentine Research Inc and not in conjunction with the concealed display. Please follow the installation instructions for the OEM concealed display and use the V1CS in its place.
